(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 지난 3일 구청에서 부평구 공약이행평가단과 공약추진 소관 국·과장이 함께하는 ‘민선8기 3년차 구청장 공약사항 추진상황 보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이날 보고회는 민선8기 6개 분야 70개의 공약사항에 대한 경과보고, 공약 이행평가 결과보고, 공약이행평가단의 활동영상 상영 순으로 진행됐다.

부평구 민선8기 3년차 공약 추진율은 2025년 6월말 기준 86.7%로 총 47개 사업(체험형 어린이 모험숲 조성, 삼산건강생활지원센터 조성, 유니세프 인증 아동친화도시 지정 추진 등)이 완료됐고, 23개 공약은 정상 추진 중이다.

총 35명으로 구성된 부평구 공약이행평가단은 앞서 지난 5월부터 1차 회의 및 투명한 공약이행 평가를 위한 특강을 시작으로 3개 공약현장(인천나비공원 내 체험형 어린이 모험숲, 삼산건강생활지원센터, 부개1동 안심마을)을 방문해 현장평가를 실시했다.

이후 5월 26일부터 30일까지 진행된 5개 분과별 회의를 통해 15개 사업에 대해 권고사항을 도출했다.

이날 보고회에서 제시된 권고사항 중 추진 중인 부평 상권 르네상스 사업의 지속적인 상권 활성화 노력, 하자없는 안전한 행정복지센터 신축, 어린이 보호구역의 파손된 시설물 신속한 처리 등 12개 항목에 대해 구는 권고사항들을 즉시 또는 일부 반영하기로 했다.

또, 공약이행평가단은 청년들을 위한 공간 유유기지 조성 및 운영, 다양한 계층이 참여하는 주민참여예산 프로그램 운영, 아동친화적이면서 자연친화적인 어린이 모험숲 조성, 지역주민 특색을 반영한 건강생활지원센터 운영, 주민의 안전을 위한 세심한 노력이 돋보이는 안심마을 조성 등을 주요 성과로 평가했다.

마지막으로 평가단은 경인고속도로·경인선 지하화와 같은 중앙정부와 인천시에서 주도하는 국책사업 추진 관련, 구가 지속적인 협조 체계를 유지해 차질없이 추진될 수 있도록 더욱 노력해달라고 당부하기도 했다.

차준택 구청장은 “평가단의 권고사항에 대해서는 다양한 구민의 의견인 만큼 지속적으로 살펴보겠다”며 “민선8기 남은 1년도 구민이 체감할 수 있는 공약추진 과정이 될 수 있도록 공약이행평가단을 비롯한 부평구 공직자들과 함께 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
