(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 1일 2028년 3월 개교 예정교인 (가칭) 검단3중학교, 아라3중학교, 미단초중학교, 영종학교의 신축공사 설계공모 당선작 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 보고회에서는 인천형 미래학교 구축을 위한 공간 구성 방향과 특화계획, 설계 개선 사항 등에 대한 논의가 이뤄졌다.

인천시교육청은 학생 중심의 교육환경 조성을 위해 ‘HUB(허브)’ 개념을 도입한 인천형 미래학교 특화계획을 추진 중이다. 

이에 따라 각 학교는 기존의 획일화된 공간을 넘어 새로운 개념의 공간 구성안을 적용했다. 

주 내용은 검단3중학교는 레이어데크(테라스)를 활용해 다양한 경험을 체험하는 열린학교, 아라3중학교는 중정과 중앙 허브 공간을 활용한 유기적인 학습네트워크 학교(EDU-VERSE), 미단초중학교는 영종도의 상징성 및 지역성을 모티브로 초등과 중등 지역사회를 유기적으로 연계하는 새로운 교육공간[인터그레이션플랫폼], 영종학교는 낯선 곳을 두려워하고 주저하는 학생들에게 안정감을 주고 조화로운 성장을 경험할 수 있는 따뜻한 집과 같은 학교(영종채)를 공간디자인 개념으로 도입했다.

인천시교육청 관계자는 “제시된 다양한 의견을 적극 반영해 인천형 미래학교의 완성도를 높일 계획”이라며 “학생 개개인의 꿈과 가능성을 담아내는 미래형 교육 공간 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
