(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 2일, 2026년 학생맞춤통합지원 정책 전면 시행을 앞두고 정책의 현장 안착을 위한 ‘학생맞춤통합지원 교육지원청 토론회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 토론회는 지난 5월 시행된 ‘방학 중 사각지대 학생 발견 및 지원 계획’의 후속 조치로 마련됐으며, 2일 남부교육지원청을 시작으로 관내 5개 교육지원청에서 순차적으로 진행한다. 

인천시교육청은 수렴한 의견을 바탕으로 관련 부서와 논의를 거쳐, 이를 2026년 학생맞춤통합지원 기본계획 수립을 위한 정책 자료로 활용할 계획이다.

도성훈 교육감은 “단위학교와 가장 밀접한 교육지원청의 현안을 면밀히 살펴보고, 단 한 명의 학생도 위기 상황에서 놓치지 않도록 현장과의 긴밀한 협력을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 7월부터 연수구 함박마을 내 ‘다가치 배움터’에서 방과후 한국어교실 2기를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 한국어교실은 연수구 이주배경학생을 대상으로 7월부터 9월까지 매주 화·수·금요일 방과후에 진행한다.

인천시교육청은 연수구청의 교육 공간인 ‘다가치 배움터’에 한국어 강사와 다문화 언어 강사를 배치해 한국어 교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 

인천시교육청은 1기 운영에 대한 만족도 조사를 바탕으로 2기 프로그램을 내실 있게 구성하고, 학생들이 학교와 한국 사회에 안정적으로 적응하도록 지속 지원하고 있다.

인천시교육청 관계자는 “다가치 배움터는 지역사회와의 협업으로 실질적인 교육 지원 체계를 마련한 점에서 의미가 크다”며 “현장 중심의 지원이 이뤄지도록 현장과 소통하겠다”고 말했다.

According to Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education, this Korean language class will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday after school from July to September for students with immigrant backgrounds in Yeonsu-gu.
