(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시립상동도서관이 오는 7월 9일 오전 10시 ‘나무에서 찾는 사람살이의 무늬’ 100회 기념 생태 인문학 특강을 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

상동도서관에 따르면, 이번 강연은 고규홍 작가가 2017년부터 진행해 온 생태 인문학 강의의 100번째 회차로, 시민을 위한 재능기부 형식으로 운영된다.

‘나무에서 찾는 사람살이의 무늬’는 부천시립상동도서관의 대표 인문학 프로그램으로 이번 강연은 나무를 통해 자연과 생명의 원리를 되짚으며, 시민들이 자연을 새롭게 바라볼 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

고규홍 작가는 천리포수목원 이사이자 생태 칼럼니스트로, ‘나뭇잎 수업’, ‘나무가 말하였네’ 등 다수의 저서를 집필해 왔다. 

부천시립상동도서관에서 2017년부터 8년간 진행한 강연은 지역사회와 긴 시간 함께해 온 대표적인 생태 인문 프로그램으로 자리 잡았다. 

특히, 2024년부터는 고 작가의 재능기부로 지속 운영되고 있다.

이번 100회 강연은 상동도서관 시청각실에서 대면으로 진행한다. 

참여를 원하는 시민은 부천시립도서관 홈페이지를 통해 선착순으로 신청할 수 있으며 모집 인원은 100명이다.

100회 강연을 시작으로 올해 하반기 생태 인문학 강의는 12월까지 매월 둘째 수요일 네이버 밴드 ‘나무에서 찾는 사람살이의 무늬’를 통해 비대면으로 진행된다. 10월에는 무릉도원수목원에서 현장 강의도 열릴 예정이다.

도서관 관계자는 “오랜 시간 지역 시민과 함께해 온 고규홍 작가의 100번째 강연을 맞이하게 돼 뜻깊다”며 “도서관과 작가, 시민이 함께 만들어 온 인문학의 흐름이 앞으로도 계속 이어지길 바란다”고 말했다.

Bucheon City Sangdong Library announced that it will hold the 100th Ecological Humanities Special Lecture, 'Finding the Pattern of Human Life in Trees' on July 9th at 10 AM.

According to Sangdong Library, this lecture is the 100th lecture of the Ecological Humanities Lecture that author Go Gyu-hong has been conducting since 2017, and will be operated in the form of talent donation for citizens.

‘Finding the Pattern of Human Life in Trees’ is the representative humanities program of Bucheon City Sangdong Library. This lecture provides an opportunity for citizens to look at nature in a new way by looking back at the principles of nature and life through trees.

Author Ko Gyu-hong is the director of Cheonripo Arboretum and an ecology columnist. He has written many books, including ‘Leaf Class’ and ‘The Tree Spoke.’

The lecture, which has been held at Bucheon City Sangdong Library for eight years since 2017, has become a representative ecology humanities program that has been with the local community for a long time.

Starting with the 100th lecture, the ecological humanities lectures in the second half of this year will be held non-face-to-face on the Naver Band ‘Finding the Pattern of Human Life in Trees’ every second Wednesday of the month until December. An on-site lecture is also scheduled to be held at the Mureungdowon Arboretum in October.

A library official said, “It is meaningful to be able to hold the 100th lecture by author Ko Gyu-hong, who has been with local citizens for a long time,” and “I hope that the flow of humanities created by the library, author, and citizens together will continue in the future.”
