(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 오는 7월 26일부터 27일까지 이틀간 계양의 대표 관광지인 계양아라온 황어광장 일원에서 ‘제3회 계양아라온 워터축제’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

계양구에 따르면, 올해로 세 번째를 맞는 이번 축제는 수변의 자연환경을 활용해 대형 수영장과 물놀이존을 운영하며, 귤현나루에서는 카약와 수상자전거 등 해양레저 체험도 마련된다. 

이외에도 블레이즈 헤어 체험, 워터건 챌린지 등 다양한 체험부스와 토요 야간 영화 상영, 노마드 리딩, 버스킹 등 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 다양한 문화행사가 준비돼 있다. 

물놀이존과 수상레저 프로그램은 모두 무료이며, 사전 신청을 통해 이용할 수 있다. 

신청 기간은 오는 7월 8일 오전 10시부터 15일 오후 6시까지이며 해양레저스포츠 누리집을 통해 가능하며 잔여분은 현장 접수도 운영된다.

Gyeyang-gu announced that it will hold the '3rd Gyeyang Araon Water Festival' for two days from July 26 to 27 at Gyeyang Araon Hwang-eo Square, a representative tourist attraction in Gyeyang.

According to Gyeyang-gu, this festival, which is in its third year, will utilize the natural environment of the waterside to operate a large swimming pool and water play zone, and marine leisure experiences such as kayaking and water bikes will also be provided at Gyulhyeon Naru.

In addition, there are various experience booths such as Blaze Hair Experience, Water Gun Challenge, and various cultural events that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, such as Saturday night movie screenings, Nomad Reading, and busking.

The water play zone and water leisure programs are all free and can be used by applying in advance.

The application period is from 10:00 AM on July 8 to 6:00 PM on the 15th, and can be applied for through the Marine Leisure Sports website. Remaining applications can also be accepted on-site.
