(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구의회가 지난 23일 열린 제274회 제1차 정례회 제2차 본회의에서 ‘인천시 서구 2025년도 일반 및 기타특별회계 제2회 추가경정 세입·세출 수정예산안’이 표결을 통해 최종 의결됐다고 밝혔다.

서구의회에 따르면, 이번 수정안은 송이 더불어민주당 원내대표가 대표 발의한 것으로, 기존 서구의회 환경경제위원회에서 삭감됐으나 예산결산특별위원회를 거쳐 조정된 청년정책일자리과의 ‘(가칭)서구 일자리 주식회사 설립’ 연구개발비 4,300만 원 중 3,300만 원을 삭감하는 내용과, 의회사무국 의원정책개발비 1억 원 중 2,000만 원을 삭감하는 내용을 담고 있다.

송 의원은 제안설명을 통해 “현재 집행부 내 일자리 관련 유사·중복 사업이 다수 존재하는 상황에서 별도의 출자기관을 추가로 설립하는 것은 행정 비효율과 예산 낭비로 이어질 우려가 있다”며 연구개발비 삭감의 배경을 밝혔다.

이어 “출자기관 설립은 충분한 청사진 제시와 공감대 형성이 선행돼야 한다”고 강조하며, “과거 복지재단 추진 당시에도 과거에 추진했으니 이어서 해야 한다’는 논리로 사업을 강행하려 했지만, 이는 책임 있는 행정의 모습이 아니다”고 지적했다.
