(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시 계양구의회가 지난 4월 14일부터 18일까지 5일간의 일정으로 제259회 임시회를 개회했다고 밝혔다.

계양구의회에 따르면, 이번 임시회에서는 14일 제1차 본회의를 시작으로 15일부터 17일까지 3일에 걸쳐 각 상임위원회별로 안건을 심사하고 18일 제2차 본회의를 마지막으로 조례안 8건, 추경예산안 1건, 기금운영계획변경안 3건, 동의안 3건, 기타 4건 등 총 19건의 안건을 최종 의결할 예정이다.

신정숙 의장은 “이번 추경예산안 심사에서는 전례 없는 세입예산 감소로 인하여 많은 사업들의 예산이 감액될 상황이다”며 “동료의원 여러분께서는 세심하고 심도깊게 각 사안을 살피셔서 안건 심사에 만전을 기해달라”고 당부했다.

또한, 계양구의회 의원연구단체인 AI의정혁신연구회가 지난 14일 계양구의회 상임위원실에서 ‘AI 활용을 통한 계양구 의정 선진화 방안 연구’용역의 착수보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

 게양구의회에 다르면, AI의정혁신연구회는 여재만 대표의원, 이상호, 황순남, 정춘지 의원으로 구성되어 있으며, 이번 연구는 생성형 AI 기술을 기반으로 예산서 검토 및 의정자료 분석 기법, 행정감사에서의 AI 활용방안, 시민과의 소통을 위한 AI 플랫폼 도입, AI 관련 조례 제·개정 방향, 국내외 AI 선진 사례 분석 등 다양한 주제를 심층적으로 다룰 예정이며, 이를 통해 계양구의회의 의정 활동 전반에 걸친 디지털 전환과 혁신 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다.

여재만 대표의원은 “이번 연구는 단순한 기술 적용을 넘어, 계양구의회가 주민에게 더욱 신뢰받는 스마트 의회로 도약하는 기반이 될 것”이라며,“연구 결과가 계양구에 적합한 AI 정책 도구 개발과 효율적인 의정활동 지원으로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
