(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 11일 인천의 고등학교 동아리 학생, 교사, 학부모와 함께 인천대학교, 인하대학교, 국제기구, 기업 관계자 등 350여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025 인천 지역자원 연계 글로컬 리더십 프로그램’ 개강식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.. 

인천시교육청에 따르면, ‘글로컬 리더십 프로그램’은 인천대, 인하대와 협력하여 2023년 10개 분야 150명, 2024년 14개 분야 245명으로 운영됐다.

2025년에는 하나금융티아이의 참여로 20개 분야 290여 명의 학생을 대상으로 더욱 확대될 예정이다.

주요 프로그램은 인천대·국제기구 협력의 '글로컬 리더십 프로그램', 인하대·미래산업 선도기업 협력의 '미래산업 연계 프로그램', 하나금융티아이와의 '금융IT 멘토링 프로그램'으로 구성된다.

학생들은 8개월 동안 항공우주, 바이오, AI 등 미래 산업과 기후변화, 지속가능한 도시 환경 등 글로벌 이슈를 주제로 강의, 프로젝트 연구, 전문가 피드백 등의 활동에 참여하게 된다.

개강식에서는 도성훈 교육감의 영상 축사, 인하대 백성현 교학부총장과 인천대 김동원 대외협력처장의 격려사에 이어, 참가 학생과 교사의 소개, 프로그램 오리엔테이션, 담당교수, 멘토, 동아리 지도교사와의 상견례가 이루어졌다.

도성훈 교육감은 “인천형 세계시민교육이 학생들이 인천을 품고 세계로 나아가는 글로컬 인재로 성장하는 데 주도적인 역할을 하고있다”며 “앞으로 다양한 지역 자원과 협력하여 더 많은 학생들이 참여할 수 있도록 프로그램을 발전시켜 나갈 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it held the ‘2025 Incheon Regional Resources Linked Global Leadership Program’ opening ceremony on the 11th with approximately 350 people in attendance, including Incheon high school club students, teachers, parents, Incheon National University, Inha University, international organizations, and corporate officials.

According to Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education, the ‘Global Leadership Program’ was operated in cooperation with Incheon National University and Inha University with 150 people in 10 fields in 2023 and 245 people in 14 fields in 2024.
