(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시 수주도서관이 4월 도서관 주간을 맞아 4월 26일 고강선사유적공원에서 ‘공원 속 북 피크닉’ 행사를 연다. 

수주도서관에 따르면, 이번 행사는 봄꽃 축제와 연계해 시민들이 일상 속 열린 공간에서 책을 가까이 접할 수 있도록 기획됐다.

행사 당일 공원 광장에는 북 캠핑, 빈백, 피크닉 매트, 책 바구니 등을 갖춘 야외도서관이 운영된다. 

운영 시간은 오전 11시부터 오후 5시까지며, 시민 누구나 자유롭게 참여할 수 있다.

시민들은 그림책, 소설, 에세이, 시집, 만화 등 1천여 권의 책 가운데 원하는 도서를 골라 빈백이나 피크닉 매트 위에서 여유롭게 독서를 즐길 수 있다. 

이와 함께 미니북 만들기, 요술나비 책갈피 만들기, 북커버 컬러링, 수주 변영로 시(詩) 필사 등 다양한 체험형 독서 프로그램도 함께 운영된다.

같은 날, 공원 인근 수주도서관에서는 2025 부천의 책 아동부문 선정도서인 ‘행운이 구르는 속도’의 저자 김성운 작가의 강연도 열린다. 

작가와의 만남을 통해 책에 대한 이해를 넓히고 독서에 대한 흥미를 높이는 자리가 될 예정이다.

Bucheon City Suju Library will hold the ‘Book Picnic in the Park’ event at Gogang Prehistoric Site Park on April 26 to celebrate Library Week in April.

According to Suju Library, this event was planned in conjunction with the Spring Flower Festival so that citizens can come into close contact with books in an open space in their daily lives.

On the day of the event, an outdoor library equipped with book camping, bean bags, picnic mats, and book baskets will be operated in the park plaza.

The operating hours are from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and anyone can participate freely.

Citizens can choose a book of their choice from over 1,000 picture books, novels, essays, poetry collections, and comics and enjoy reading leisurely on bean bags or picnic mats.

Along with this, various experiential reading programs such as mini-book making, magic butterfly bookmark making, book cover coloring, and Suju Byeon Yeong-ro's poetry transcription will also be held.

On the same day, a lecture by author Kim Seong-un, author of 'The Speed ​​at which Luck Rolls', a book selected for the 2025 Bucheon Book Children's Category, will be held at the Suju Library near the park.

It will be a place to broaden understanding of books and increase interest in reading through meetings with authors.
