(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 14일부터 6월 13일까지 61일간 시 관련 부서, 군·구, 공사·공단, 체육회와 함께 노후·고위험 시설 전반에 대한 집중안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 이번 집중안전점검은 일상 속에서 방치되어 재난 및 사고 발생 위험이 높은 시설물이나 국민적 관심이 큰 시설물을 대상으로 진행된다. 

정부와 지자체, 민간 전문가, 시민이 함께 참여해 위험 요소를 사전에 발굴하고 해소하는 사전 재난 예방 활동으로, 국민의 안전의식을 높이고 실질적인 사고 예방 효과를 거두기 위해 지난 2015년부터 추진되고 있다.

올해 점검 대상 시설은 총 690개소로, 어린이 이용시설, 교통시설, 요양시설, 다중이용시설, 의료시설, 건설공사장, 낚시어선 등의 시설과 시민들이 점검을 요청한 시설물이 포함된다.

점검은 관리주체와 분야별 재난안전 전문가로 구성된 152명의 ‘헬프미 안전점검단’과 시민단체가 함께 참여한다. 

점검 과정에서는 사물인터넷(IoT) 감지기의 계측자료, 행정안전부가 제작한 모바일 앱, 시설 유형별 점검안내서를 적극 활용해 검사의 정확도를 높일 계획이다.

점검 결과 보수·보강이 시급한 공공시설물에 대해서는 예산을 활용해 즉시 조치할 예정이며, 추가 진단이 필요한 경우 정밀안전진단 등을 실시하고 행정안전부에 재난특별교부세 지원요청 등을 할 계획이다. 

또, 민간시설 중 보수·보강이 어려운 노후 공동주택 등에 대해서는 공동주택 지원사업 등을 통해 재난위험요소를 해소하고, 선제적으로 안전사고를 예방한다.

Incheon City announced that it will conduct intensive safety inspections of all old and high-risk facilities for 61 days from the 14th to June 13th together with related departments, counties and districts, construction and industrial complexes, and sports associations.
