(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천강화경찰서가 8일, 아동안전보호에 헌신한 아동안전지킴이집에 감사장을 수여했다고 밝혔다.

강화경찰서에 따르면, 초등학교 하굣길 보호자를 기다리거나 우천 시 우산이 없는 아동들에게 장소를 제공하고, 횡단보도가 없는 곳에서도 아동들이 안전하게 길을 건널 수 있게 도와주는 등 아동 안전에 힘써 온 ‘청파문구사’(강화읍 갑곳리 갑룡초 앞, 김청파님)에 강화경찰서장 감사장을 수여했다.

2018년 3월부터 7년간 아동안전지킴이 집을 운영해 온 김청파씨는 “지역사회에서 당연히 해야 할 일을 한건데 이렇게 뜻깊은 감사장을 받게되어 감사하고 영광스럽다며 앞으로도 아동안전과 범죄예방을 위해 아동안전지킴이집의 역할에 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

고성한 강화경찰서장은 “어려운 여건 속에서도 사명감을 가지고 근무해주고 계신 아동안전지킴이집 분들께 깊은 감사의 뜻을 전하며, 자긍심 고취를 위해 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 덧붙였다.
