(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 오는 3월 18일부터 4월 1일까지 2주간 ‘2025년 위기청소년 특별지원’ 대상자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

계양구에 따르면, ‘위기청소년 특별지원 사업’은 보호자가 없거나 실질적으로 보호자의 보호를 받지 못해 사회·경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 위기 청소년에게 생활비와 학비 등의 현금 급여나 관련 서비스를 직접 지원하는 사업으로, 이를 통해 청소년이 건전한 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕는다.

지원 대상은 가구소득이 중위소득 100% 이하인 9~24세까지의 청소년 중, 비행·일탈 예방을 위해 지원이 필요한 청소년, 학교 밖 청소년, 보호자가 없거나 실질적으로 보호를 받지 못하는 위기 청소년(한부모가족 아동양육비 수급 청소년 포함), 은둔형 청소년 등이다.

계양구는 신청자를 대상으로 소득 확인 및 청소년복지심의위원회 심사 등의 절차를 거쳐 최종 지원 대상자를 선정할 계획이다. 

선정된 대상자에게는 생활지원(월 65만 원 이하), 건강지원(연 200만 원 이하), 학업지원(월 30만 원 이하)를 지원하며 지원 기간은 1년 이내로 하되, 필요한 경우 1년의 범위 안에서 한 차례 연장할 수 있다.

신청 방법은 청소년 본인, 보호자 또는 청소년 지도사, 사회복지사 등이 신청서와 구비 서류를 갖춰 주소지 동 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청하면 된다.
