(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시의회 의원연구단체인 ‘보건의료인력 활성화 방안 연구회(대표의원 박판순)’가 지난 11일 문화복지위원회 세미나실에서 박판순 대표의원을 비롯해 이봉락·박창호·신충식·김종득 시의원, 의료기사단체 정책연구단 광계자 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘공공지역보건 향상을 위한 보건의료인력 활성화 방안 연구회 세미나’를 개최했다.

인천시의회에 따르면, ‘보건의료인력 활성화 방안 연구회’는 의료기사단체 정책연구단에 소속돼 있는 단체(사단법인 대한임상병리사협회․대한치과기공사협회․대한방사선사협회․대한물리치료사협회․대한치과위생사협회․대한작업치료사협회․대한작업치료사협회․대한안경사협회)와 전문가 등으로 구성돼 있으며, 이날 관계 부서 공무원도 의견 청취를 위해 참석했다.

이날 세미나에서는‘보건의료인력 활성화를 위한 정책 제안’과 ‘지역보건의료서비스에서 의료기사의 역할’을 주제로 가천대학교 안성민 교수와 이원의료재단 송기선 학술본부장 등이 각각 발표하는 등 지역 보건의료서비스에서의 보건의료기사의 역할 및 향후 계획에 대해 심도있는 논의가 이뤄졌다.

연구단체 대표인 박판순 의원은 “보건의료인력의 근무 환경 개선과 처우 수준 향상을 위해 지속적인 관심이 필요하다”며 “보건의료인력을 지원하기 위해 조례 개정(보건의료인력 지원 조례 일부개정조례안)을 하기도 했다”고 말했다.

그는 또 “앞으로도 큰 틀에서 보건의료인력의 역량 강화와 보건의료 서비스 수준의 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
