(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 더불어민주당 정일영 의원(국회 기획재정위원회·예산결산특별위원회, 송도국제도시)이 6일,  GTX-B 송도국제도시 구간이 올 7월 실착공될 것이며, 지난해 예타 대상 사업으로 미 선정된 인천1호선 송도 8공구 연장 사업은 올 4~5월 초 사이에 예비타당성 대상 사업 선정 여부가 결정될 것이라고 밝혔다. 

정일영 의원이 국토교통부로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면 GTX-B 연수구 구간은 3월 착공계를 제출하고 각종 인허가 이후 올해 7월부터 실착공 될 예정이다. 

착공계 제출은 실착공에 돌입한다는 것을 의미한다. 

현재 국토교통부는 도로점용허가, 굴착허가 등 착공에 필요한 인허가를 위해 경제자유구역청, 인천교통공사, 연구수청 등 관계기관과 사전협의 중이라고 밝혔다. 

인천1호선 송도8공구 연장의 경우, 지난 2월 26일 국토부의 투자심사위원회를 통과하여 기획재정부의 재정사업평가위원회 심의를 앞두고 있다. 

인천1호선 송도8공구 연장 사업은 지난해 예타 대상사업으로 선정되지 못했으나, 당시 미선정된 사유를 해소․보완하여 예타 대상사업 선정을 재추진 중이다. 

정일영 의원이 기획재정부에 확인한 바에 따르면 기획재정부는 올 4월 말에서 5월 초 사이에 재정사업평가위원회를 개최하고 인천1호선 송도8공구 연장사업의 예타 대상사업 선정 여부를 결정할 예정이다. 

정일영 의원은 지난 제21대 국회부터 송도국제도시 교통망 확충을 위해 노력했다. 

국토부·기재부 등 관련 기관과 꾸준히 협의하는 것은 물론, 토론회를 개최하여 송도국제도시 교통망 확충의 필요성을 공론화하고 국정감사와 예산결산특별위원회에서 GTX-B, 인천1호선 등 시급한 송도국제도시 교통망에 대해 지적하며 신속한 착공과 개통을 촉구했다.

또한 정 의원은 지난해 인천1호선 송도 8공구 연장이 예타대상에서 미선정된 이후 기재부, 국토부, 인천시 등 실무책임자에게 빠른 시일 내 미흡한 부분을 보완하여 예타를 재신청할 것을 주문했다. 

이어 국정감사에서 인천1호선 등 대중교통망 개선이 필요한 곳에 조속히 예타를 선정하고 제도를 개선하도록 지적하고 책임자들과 정기적으로 간담회 및 현장점검에 나서는 등 신속한 추진을 촉구했다.

정일영 의원은 “GTX-B, 인천1호선 등 송도국제도시 교통망 사업의 추진 지연으로 주민분들이 크게 불편을 겪고 계신다”며 “가장 많이 궁금하실 GTX-B는 올해 7월 중에 실착공을 할 계획이고, 인천1호선 송도 8공구 연장의 경우 기재부와 긴밀하게 협의하여 올해 4~5월 중에 예타 대상사업 선정이 될 수 있도록 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

이어 정 의원은 “이제 GTX-B의 신속한 착공과 개통, 그리고 인천1호선 8공구 연장의 예타대상 선정을 남겨놨다”며 “주민분들과 함께 꾸준히 노력하여 GTX-B의 신속한 착공, 인천1호선 송도 8공구 연장의 예타 선정, M버스 등 교통망 확충에 총력을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
