(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 지난 3일, 한파주의보가 발효됨에 따라 24시간 한파 대응 근무에 돌입한다고 밝혔다. 

서구에 따르면, 각 부서 및 23개 동 행정복지센터는 한파 취약계층 및 야외 작업근로자 보호 대책을 추진한다.

서구는 강추위에 따른 인명피해가 발생하지 않도록 독거노인·주거 취약 가구 대상 안부 확인 작업을 시행할 예정이다. 

이와 함께 주거지가 불명확한 노숙인을 긴급 지원할 수 있도록 한파 쉼터·응급 잠자리·응급 대피소를 운영한다. 

구청에서 근무 중인 야외 작업 근로자 보호 대책도 강화된다. 특보 기간 중 근로자에 한랭질환이 발병할 시, 즉시 작업을 중단하고 휴식 시간을 추가 배정할 계획이다. 

이 밖에도 실외 근무 인원 축소·옥외 작업 최소화 등 안전 사고 예방책을 각 부서에 전달할 방침이다. 

서구 관계자는 “재난 문자 발송과 함께 전광판·서구 홈페이지를 활용하여 구민들에게 한파 대비 행동 요령을 계속해서 제공할 것”이라며 “모든 구민이 안전하게 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 예방 대책 마련에 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.

Incheon Seo-gu announced on the 3rd that it will begin 24-hour cold wave response work as the cold wave warning has been issued.
