(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 3일, 전 직원이 참여하는 월례 행복소통만남회의에 유정복 인천시장을 초청해 특강을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, ‘2025년 인천시정 운영 방향’이라는 주제로 진행된 이번 특강은 교육청과 시청이 상호 간의 교류 확대 및 협력으로 직원들의 정책 이해도를 높이고 인천 시민의 교육의 질과 삶의 질을 향상하기 위해 인천의 교육정책과 시정 운영 방향을 다루었다. 

도성훈 교육감은 “시청과 교육청 간의 정책 공유는 행정의 투명성을 높이고 예산의 중복 투자 방지 등 다양한 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 수 있다”며 “시청의 행정력과 교육청의 교육 전문성을 결합하여 정책 추진의 효과를 극대화할 수 있을 것”이라고 밝혔다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 3일, 인천시교원단체총연합회(회장 이대형)와 ‘2024년 교섭‧협의 합의 체결식’을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 지난 9월 인천교총의 130개 요구 사항에 대해 교육청과 인천교총은 여러 차례 실무 교섭을 거쳐 최종 127개 항목에 합의했다. 

주요 합의 내용은 맞춤형복지제도 건강검진 범위 확대, 법적 의무교육 등 연수 과정의 원활한 운영 노력, 피신고 교원에 대한 보호조치 마련, 단설 유치원 교육환경 조성, 학교급식 업무 개선 등 교사와 학생 모두 더 나은 교육환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 하는 데 중점을 두었다.

도성훈 교육감은 “이번 합의는 교육청과 인천교총이 협력적으로 소통한 결과물”이라며 “앞으로도 학생 성공시대를 이끄는 주축인 선생님들이 교육활동에 전념할 수 있는 여건을 조성하고 교육 변화의 주체가 될 수 있도록 인천교총과 협력을 더욱 강화할 것이며 합의 내용을 성실하게 이행하겠다”고 밝혔다.
