(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천계양소방서가 8일, 작전119안전센터에 신규 음압구급차를 배치했다고 밝혔다.

계양소방서에 따르면, 이번에 도입된 음압구급차는 내부 기압을 외부보다 낮게 유지해 바이러스나 유해물질이 차량 밖으로 빠져나가지 않도록 하는 음압 시스템을 갖추고 있다. 

이를 통해 환자를 이송하는 과정에서 외부 환경 및 구급대원의 오염 위험을 최소화할 수 있어, 철저한 감염관리를 실현한다는 점이 가장 큰 장점이다. 

또한 고성능 공조 시스템과 필터 장치를 구비해, 차량 내부 공기를 주기적으로 정화함으로써 안전하고 쾌적한 이송 환경을 제공한다.

소방서는 음압구급차량 도입을 통해 코로나19 등 감염병 환자 이송 시 2차 전파 가능성을 원천 차단함으로써 더욱 안전한 이송체계를 갖출 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.

김희곤 서장은 “신규 음압구급차를 도입함으로써 감염병 대응 역량이 한층 강화됐다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 재난 상황에 신속하고 정확하게 대응해, 시민의 안전을 지키기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
