(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 6일부터 시민의 평생학습 기회를 확대하고, 지역사회의 지속 가능한 발전을 위해 평생학습 사업(프로그램) 공모를 시작한다고 밝혔다. 

부천시에 따르면, 평생교육과(부천시평생학습센터)가 주관하는 이번 공모에는 장애인 평생교육 지원사업, 성인문해교육 지원사업, 베이비부머 교육훈련 지원사업과  퇴근학습길, 시민주도학습 등 총 5개 사업에서 약 1억 원의 예산이 투입된다.

부천시는 이번 공모를 통해 시민이 적극적으로 참여하여 실질적인 학습 성과를 창출하고 지역사회 발전에 이바지할 수 있는 기틀을 마련할 계획이다. 

또한,  각 사업은 지역 주민의 다양한 학습 욕구를 반영하여 평생학습을 통한 개인과 지역사회의 동반 성장을 목표로 한다.

한편 부천시평생학습센터는 오는 1월 10일 오후 2시, 송내시민학습원(송내어울마당 2층)에서‘평생학습 사업설명회’를 개최하여 공모사업을 비롯한 주요 정책과 사업을 안내하고 시민의 다양한 의견을 수렴할 예정이다.

Bucheon City to Hold 2025 Lifelong Learning Competition

Bucheon City announced on the 6th that it will begin accepting applications for lifelong learning projects (programs) to expand lifelong learning opportunities for citizens and promote sustainable development of the local community.

According to Bucheon City, this competition hosted by the Lifelong Education Division (Bucheon City Lifelong Learning Center) will invest a total of 100 million won in 5 projects, including lifelong education support projects for the disabled, adult literacy education support projects, baby boomer education and training support projects, and after-work learning paths and citizen-led learning.

Bucheon City plans to lay the foundation for citizens to actively participate in this contest, create practical learning outcomes, and contribute to the development of the local community.

In addition, each project aims to reflect the diverse learning needs of local residents and achieve mutual growth of individuals and the local community through lifelong learning.

Meanwhile, Bucheon City Lifelong Learning Center will hold a ‘Lifelong Learning Project Briefing Session’ at 2:00 PM on January 10 at Songnae Citizen Learning Center (2nd floor of Songnae Eoulmadang) to introduce major policies and projects including the contest and collect various opinions from citizens.
