(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 구랍 27일에 2024년 경기도 재난 의료 대응에 우수 지자체로 선정되어, 재난 의료 대응 유공 기관 및 개인 부문에서‘경기도지사 표창’을 수상했다.

부천시에 따르면, 이번 경기도지사 표창은 부천시가 다수 사상자 발생 재난 현장 대응 과정에서 보건소 신속대응반 등의 유기적이고, 정확한 대응으로 시민의 안전과 생명을 지키는 파수꾼 역할을 높게 평가받아 기관과 개인 부문 동시 수상의 성과를 이뤄 냈다.

부천시는 재난 및 다수 사상자 발생에 대비하여 보건소 신속대응반을 운영하고, 자체 신속대응반 훈련 및 유관기관 합동 훈련 등 도상 훈련과 현장훈련을 실시하여 실전 대응 능력 강화를 위해 노력했다. 

보건소 신속대응반은 현장응급의료소장인 보건소장을 포함하여 3개반 6개팀, 총 34명으로 구성되어 있으며, 재난 발생 시에는 신속히 출동하여 현장 응급의료소를 설치해 사상자 현황을 파악하고 현장 응급의료 대응 활동을 수행한다.  

조용익 부천시장은 “앞으로도 부천시는 다수 사상자 사고가 발생할 경우를   대비해 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 현장 대응 역량 강화를 위하여 더욱 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.
