(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 2일, 구민을 위해 창의적이고 적극적으로 업무를 추진한 우수사례 6건을 발굴해 담당 공무원을 적극 행정 우수공무원으로 선발했다고 밝혔다.

남동구에 따르면, 이번 선정된 우수사례는 (우수) 남동산단 내 주차난 해소를 위한 ‘저비용·고효율’ 주차장 조성(미래전략과 오영택 주무관), (우수) 화재 등 이재민을 위한 직영 임시주거시설 운영(안전총괄과 이승민 팀장, 김인숙 주무관), (우수) 모바일(QR)로 확인하는 재난 안전 매뉴얼(도시관리공단 권상욱 차장), (장려) 장기간 방치 재난위험시설물, 유관기관과 협업으로 해결(안전총괄과 서준호 주무관), (장려) 철도 유휴공간으로 보행로와 주민 쉼터 확보(도로과 남상태 주무관), (혁신) 저비용 주차공간 확충으로 예산 절감(교통행정과 김강호 주무관) 등이다.

이 중 남동국가산업단지 내 주차 문제 해결을 위해 주변 공원 내 활용도가 낮은 부지를 주차장으로 탈바꿈시켜 주차난 해소에 기여한 사례와 재난 발생 시 이재민을 위한 임시주거시설을 운영한 사례가 높은 평가를 받았다.

남동구는 선정된 우수사례를 웹툰과 카드 뉴스로 제작해 홈페이지와 SNS, 남동구 블로그 등을 통해 홍보하고, 선발된 공무원에게는 성과급 최고 등급 및 포상 휴가 등 인센티브로 부여할 예정이다. 

남동구는 지난해 9월부터 홈페이지, 내·외부 추천으로 21건의 우수사례를 접수하고 블라인드 사전심사, 직원·주민 설문조사, 우수사례 발표회를 거쳐 6건(우수 3건, 장려 2건, 혁신 1건)을 선정했다. 

박종효 구청장은 “선정된 사례들은 직원들의 적극 행정으로 구민의 삶의 질 향상에 기여한 사례”라면서 “앞으로도 적극 행정에 대한 파격적 인센티브 부여 등을 통해 전 직원이 구민의 입장에서 구민을 위한 행정을 할 수 있도록 더욱 독려하겠다”고 밝혔다.

또한, 남동구가 2일, 재난 대응체계 강화를 위해 올해 1월 1일부터 재난안전상황실을 상시 운영한다고 밝혔다.

남동구에 따르면,구는 최근 재난안전상황실 상시 운영을 위해 상황실을 새로 정비하고 개소식을 개최했다.

재난안전상황실은 남동구 청사 내 4층에 위치하며, 재난 발생 시 신속하고 체계적인 재난 상황관리를 담당한다.

남동구는 상황실 내에 재난안전시스템을 구축하고 상황실 전담 인력 4명을 배치했다.

상시 운영을 통해 365일 24시간 상황관리 체계를 유지하고 협력체계 구축을 강화해 재난 대응관리 체계가 한층 강화될 것으로 기대된다. 

재난안전상황실 개소식에는 박종효 구청장 등 간부 공무원이 참석한 가운데 상황실 정비현황 보고 및 상황실 시스템에 대해 시연했다.

이어, 2025년부터 재난안전상황실 상시 운영에 다른 운영 방향과 겨울철 자연 재난 대응에 대한 회의를 개최 개최하며 안전관리 방안에 대해 논의했다.

박종효 구청장은 “24시간 365일 재난안전상황실을 운영하여 호우, 대설, 화재, 인파 사고 등의 재난 상황에 신속히 대응하고, 재난 발생 시 초기 상황에 체계적으로 대처하여 안전관리를 철저히 해줄 것”을 당부하며“앞으로도 구민의 생명과 재산 보호를 위해 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
