(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천창조경제혁신센터(센터장 이한섭, 이하 인천센터)는 최근 투자기업 3개사가 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 기술창업 지원 프로그램인 팁스(TIPS)에 선정되면서 올해 총 6개사가 최종 선정됐다고 발표했다. 

인천센터에 따르면, 이는 14기 운영사로 선정된 후, 2023년 4개사 100% 선정에 이어 2024년에도 투자 및 추천한 6개사 모두 100% 선정됐다. 

이로 인해 인천센터는 2년 연속 팁스 100% 선정률을 기록하며 투자자 및 기업들에게 주목받고 있다.

팁스는 기술력을 갖춘 스타트업의 발굴과 육성을 목적으로 정부와 민간이 협력하여 추진하는 기술창업지원 프로그램이다. 

민간이 기업에 초기 투자를 진행하면 중소벤처기업부가 연구개발(R&D) 자금 등을 지원한다.

올해 인천센터와 함께 팁스에 선정된 기업은 심투리얼㈜(대표 전다형, 우주항공 분야 인공지능 학습 데이터 생성을 위한 대규모 자동 가상환경 개발), 모먼트스튜디오㈜(대표 신성철, 크리에이터를 위한 AI 기반 여행 콘텐츠 생성 및 여행전문 번역 솔루션), 퀘이자㈜(대표 김명현, AI기반 복합 데이터 분석을 통한 위조품 진단 솔루션 개발), 업사이트㈜(대표 임강후, AI/딥러닝 기술을 활용한 스마트 건설 공정관리 솔루션 개발), 디에스㈜(대표 한기준, 사용자의 개입을 최소화한 반도체 패키지 불량 검출 시스템), 고트헤이븐㈜(대표 차형호, RAG 기술 기반의 수학문제 분석 및 풀이과정 피드백 솔루션 개발) 6개사로, 이들 모두 기술성과 사업성이 뛰어나 투자업계의 큰 주목을 받고 있다.

​인천센터의 선정 100% 성과에는 연구개발계획서에 대한 꼼꼼한 피드백과 팀 단위의 지원이 중요한 역할을 했다. 

각 기업의 기술적 우수성과 시장 잠재력을 최대한 반영할 수 있도록 연구개발계획서의 질을 높이기 위한 철저한 지원이 이뤄졌다. 

초기 단계부터 기업들의 기술 검토와 시장 분석을 심도 있게 진행하여, 각 스타트업이 현실적인 목표를 설정하고 그에 맞는 전략을 세울 수 있도록 도왔다.

이번 성과는 인천센터가 쌓아온 네트워크와 투자 경험을 바탕으로 창업 생태계에 실질적인 기여를 이어가겠다는 의지를 확고히 하는 계기가 될 예정이다. 

인천센터는 총 결성액 1조원 이상의 인천 빅웨이브 모펀드를 운용하고 있어, 후속 투자 유치 시 VC 연계에 유리한 위치에 있다. 

또한, 센터 대표 IR 행사인 빅웨이브(BiiG WAVE) 를 통해 후속 투자 유치를 지원하고, 한진·KT·한솔PNS 등 대기업과의 오픈이노베이션 프로그램을 통해 스타트업들의 글로벌 진출을 돕는 글로벌 액셀러레이팅 지원사업을 적극적으로 연계할 계획이다.

인천센터 이한섭 센터장은 “올해 팁스 100% 선정에 안주하지 않고 앞으로도 이러한 실적을 이어갈 수 있도록 노력하겠다. 또한 자사의 추천기업들이 더 큰 성공을 거둘 수 있도록 전폭적인 지원을아끼지 않을 것"이라며 "스타트업 생태계의 지속 가능한 혁신을 위해 앞으로도 창업자와 투자자들이 협력할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 마련할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
