(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 지난 25일 오후 2시부터 공항철도(주) 검암역에서 2024년 충무훈련 실제 훈련을 민·관·군·경 합동으로 실시했다고 밝혔다.

서구에 따르면, 이번 훈련은 국가보안시설인 공항철도(주) 검암역에 쓰레기 풍선이 낙하된 후 폭발하고 테러범이 역사에 침입하여 역무원을 인질로 삼아 대치하는 상황을 가정해 진행됐다.

쓰레기 풍선이 폭발함에 따라 초동조치, 쓰레기 풍선 내 화생방물질 제독, 이후 테러범의 공격 발생에 따라 테러범 진압, 인질 구조, 화재진압, 인명구조, 재난현장통합지원본부 설치 및 현장 응급복구 순서로 진행됐다.

이날 훈련에는 서구청 및 공항철도(주), 17사단 백승여단, 9공수여단, 10화생방대대, 서부경찰서, 서부소방서, 서구보건소, 가톨릭관동대학교 국제성모병원, 한국전력공사 서인천지사 등 10개 기관 150여명이 참여했다.

9공수여단 대테러작전차량, 17사단 백승여단 군용차량, 10화생방대대 제독차량, 서부소방서 소방차량 및 구급차량, 서부경찰서 초동대응차량, 서구보건소 방역차, 가톨릭관동대학교 국제성모병원 구급차량, 한국전력공사 서인천지사 전력복구차량, 서구청 도로과 덤프트럭 등 각 기관별 차량과 장비를 총 동원해 실전을 방불케 했다.

한편, 17사단 백승여단장, 행정안전부 비상대비훈련과장, 서구의회 의원, 공항철도(주) 안전실장 등이 참관하여 훈련에 대한 높은 관심을 나타내었다.

강범석 서구청장은 강평을 통하여 훈련에 참가한 유관기관 관계자들의 노고를 치하했다. 

또한 “이번 훈련을 통해 각 기관이 맡은 바 임무를 충실히 수행, 유기적으로 연계·협조하여 국가 위기 상황에 능동적인 대처를 할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 앞으로 어떤 위기 상황에서도 대응할 수 있는 완벽한 국가 비상대비 태세를 확립할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 기울여야 한다”고 강조했다.
