(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 경인지방통계청이 11일, 2024년 8월 인천시 고용동향을 발표했다.
자료에서 15세이상인구 및 경제활동인구를 보면, 2024년 8월 15세이상인구는 267만 6천명으로 전년동월대비 4만 7천명(1.8%) 증가했다.
경제활동인구는 176만 3천명으로 전년동월대비 3만 7천명(2.1%) 증가했으며 경제활동참가율은 65.9%로 전년동월대비 0.2%p 상승했다.
비경제활동인구는 91만 4천명으로 전년동월대비 1만 1천명(1.2%) 증가했으며 성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 35만 1천명으로 3만 1천명(9.6%) 증가했으나, 여자는 56만 2천명으로 2만명(3.4%) 감소했다.
취업자 동향에서 취업자 및 고용률를 보면, 2024년 8월 취업자는 172만 7천명으로 전년동월대비 4만명(2.4%) 증가했다.
성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 95만 4천명으로 5천명(-0.5%) 감소했으나, 여자는 77만 4천명으로 4만 5천명(6.2%) 증가했다.
고용률은 64.5%로 전년동월대비 0.3%p 상승했다.

직업별 취업자의 전년동월대비 증감을 보면, 관리자ㆍ전문가 7만명(21.6%), 사무종사자 1만 6천명(5.3%) 각각 증가했으나, 기능·기계조작·조립·단순종사자는 4만 6천명(-6.8%), 서비스ㆍ판매종사자 3천명(-0.7%) 각각 감소했다.
종사상 지위별 취업자에서 종사상 지위별로 전년동월대비 증감을 보면, 임금근로자 4만 8천명(3.5%) 증가하였으나, 비임금근로자 8천명(-2.4%) 감소했다.
임금근로자 중 상용근로자 4만명(4.1%), 임시근로자 6천명(2.0%), 일용근로자 1천명(1.4%) 각각 증가했으며 비임금근로자 중 자영업자 5천명(-1.6%), 무급가족종사자 3천명(-10.4%) 각각 감소했다.
취업시간대별 취업자에서 취업시간대별 취업자의 전년동월대비 증감을 보면, 36시간 미만 취업자는 96만 5천명으로 16만 3천명(20.3%) 증가했으나, 36시간 이상 취업자는 74만 4천명으로 11만 5천명(-13.4%) 감소했다.
주당 평균 취업시간은 34.4시간으로 전년동월대비 1.4시간 감소했다.
실업자 동향에서 2024년 8월 실업자는 3만 6천명으로 전년동월대비 3천명(-8.7%) 감소했다.
