(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 오는 30일까지 2분기 어선 승선원 변동 미신고 일제단속을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

인천해경에 따르면, 해양사고 발생 시 어선출입항종합정보시스템에 등록된 선원과 실제 탑승인원이 일치하지 않으면 구조현장에서 혼선이 발생할 수 있기 때문이다.

어선안전조업법에 따르면 어선 승선원 변동이 있는 경우 인근 해양경찰 파·출장소를 방문하거나 인터넷 또는 모바일을 통해 신고해야 한다.

승선원 변동 신고를 하지 않으면 1차 경고, 2차 10일 어업정지, 3차 15일 어업정지의 행정처분을 받는다.

앞서 인천해경은 올해 1분기 단속을 벌여 승선원 변동 미신고 어선 4척을 적발했다.

인천해경 관계자는 “안전한 어업활동에 있어 정확한 승선원 관리는 매우 중요하다”며 “승선원 변동 시 해양경찰 파·출장소를 방문하거나 인터넷, 모바일을 통해 신고해 주길 바란다” 고 말했다.
