(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 부평구의회가 제10대 전반기 상임위원장 선출을 마치고 본격적인 의정활동을 시작했다고 밝혔다.

부평구의회에 따르면, 지난 7일 제276회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 열고 행정복지위원회 위원장에 윤구영 의원(국민의힘), 도시환경위원회 위원장에 손대중 의원(더불어민주당)을 선출한 데 이어, 8일 제3차 본회의를 통해  의회운영위원회 위원장에 김보식 의원(더불어민주당)을 선출하며 전반기 원 구성을 마무리했다. 

이날 선출된 상임위원장들은 각각 당선 소감을 통해 주민 중심의 의정활동과 의회 발전을 향한 포부를 밝혔다.

행정복지위원장으로 선출된 윤구영 의원은 “행정복지위원회는 구정 운영의 근간인 예산, 조직, 인사는 물론 구 예산의 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 사회복지 업무를 소관하는 막중한 자리”라며, “앞으로 2년간 위원장으로서 소속 위원들과 적극적으로 소통하고 협력하여 부평구 발전에 기여하고 헌신하는 위원회를 만들겠다”고 말했다.
