(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서해구의회가 지난 7일 오후 3시 본회의장에서 제282회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 열어 상임위원회 위원을 선임하고, 전반기 의회를 이끌어갈 3개 상임위원회 위원장을 선출했다고 밝혔다. 

서해구의회에 따르면, 이날 치러진 상임위원장 선거에서 의회운영위원장에는 공정숙 의원(국민의힘, 다선거구), 기획행정안전위원장에는 김원진 의원(더불어민주당, 가선거구), 복지환경도시위원장에는 임기현 의원(더불어민주당, 라선거구)이 각각 선출됐다.

각 상임위원회 위원 구성도 함께 확정됐다. 

의회운영위원회는 위원장 공정숙 의원을 비롯한 이세리, 김태형, 서지영, 김춘수 의원으로 구성됐으며, 기획행정안전위원회는 위원장 김원진 의원과 이세리, 김태형, 이한종, 서지영, 김학엽, 홍육례 의원, 복지환경도시위원회는 위원장 임기현 의원과 김동익, 공정숙, 정영신, 김춘수, 양환옥 의원으로 구성됐다.

전반기 원 구성을 마친 서해구의회는 다음 날인 8일 오전, 각 상임위원회별로 제1차 위원회를 열어 부위원장을 선임하고 곧바로 본격적인 의정활동에 들어간다. 

의회는 이번 임시회 중 남은 9일의 회기 동안 '2026년도 하반기 주요 업무보고'를 청취하며 구정 현안을 점검하고 조례안 등을 심사할 예정이다. 심사를 거친 안건들은 회기 마지막 날인 오는 16일 제3차 본회의에서 최종 의결된다.

고선희 의장은 "의장단 선출에 이어 상임위원회 구성까지 원만하게 마무리할 수 있도록 협조해 주신 동료 의원들께 감사드린다"며 "각 상임위가 지닌 전문성을 바탕으로 집행부에 대한 합리적인 견제와 대안을 제시하는 한편, 상호 존중과 협치를 통해 일하는 의회의 모범을 보이겠다"고 밝혔다.

The Incheon Seohae-gu Council announced that it held the 2nd plenary session of the 282nd extraordinary session at the main assembly hall at 3 p.m. on the 7th, where it appointed members to the standing committees and elected the chairpersons of the three standing committees that will lead the council during the first half of its term.

According to the Seohae-gu Council, in the standing committee chairperson elections held on this day, Council Member Gong Jeong-suk (People Power Party, District D) was elected Chairperson of the Council Operations Committee, Council Member Kim Won-jin (Democratic Party of Korea, District A) was elected Chairperson of the Planning, Administration, and Safety Committee, and Council Member Lim Gi-hyeon (Democratic Party of Korea, District D) was elected Chairperson of the Welfare, Environment, and Urban Committee.

Having completed the composition for the first half of the term, the Seohae-gu Council will hold the first committee meetings for each standing committee on the morning of the following day, the 8th, to appoint vice-chairpersons and immediately begin full-scale legislative activities.
