(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 오는 7월 15일부터 16일까지 이틀간 인천 송도컨벤시아에서 시와 해양수산부가 공동 주최하고 인천항만공사와 연합뉴스가 주관하는 수도권 최대 규모의 해양 지식 비즈니스 플랫폼 ‘제7회 인천국제해양포럼(Incheon International Ocean Forum 2026)’이 열린다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 올해로 7회째를 맞이한 인천국제해양포럼은 ‘AI 시대, 해양의 미래(The future of Ocean in the Era of AI)’를 대주제로 삼았다. 

인공지능 기술이 해양산업 전반에 가져올 AI 기반 혁신 방향과 글로벌 협력 방안에 대해 집중 조망하며, 성균관대 최재붕 교수와 현대차·기아 주시현 상무의 기조연설을 시작으로 5개 정규 세션과 1개 특별 세션으로 이어진다.

또, 행사 둘째 날인 7월 16일은‘인천 특화데이’로 지정해 운영한다. 

‘AI 시대 해양도시 인천’을 주제로 학계·산업계·정책분야 전문가들이 연사로 참여해 인천의 AI 기술이 해양산업 전반으로 확산되는 흐름 속에서 인천이 미래 글로벌 해양 메가시티로 나아가기 위한 구체적인 마스터플랜과 독자적 경쟁력을 확보하기 위한 깊이 있는 논의를 펼칠 예정이다.

또한, 이번 포럼에서는 AI 기술을 오감으로 체험할 수 있는 ‘피지컬 AI (Physical AI) 전시·체험존’을 대폭 강화해 관람객들을 맞이한다. 

사족보행 로봇과 인간의 보행을 완벽히 재현하는 휴머노이드 로봇이 스마트항만 내에서 물류 자동화를 수행하는 고난도 작업을 생생하게 시연한다. 

아울러, 정밀한 로봇 팔 제어로 정량의 디저트를 제조하는 아이스크림 로봇과 참석자 네임택의 QR코드를 연계한 로봇 커피 서비스, AI 시각 센서로 즉석에서 그려주는 캐리커쳐 드로잉 로봇 등 참관객이 직접 참여하고 즐길 수 있는 체감형 미래 기술들이 행사장 곳곳에 배치된다.

이 밖에도 AI 기반 항만·물류 환경 변화를 주제로 한 학술대회 세미나와 인천 소재 대학(원)생 대상 AI 경진대회가 개최되며, 같은 기간 미래 교통혁신을 이끌 ‘UAM(도심항공교통) 드론 기체 전시’ 등 학술과 산업을 아우르는 다채로운 행사가 동시에 개최되어 미래 인재 육성 및 교류의 장이 될 전망이다.

한편, 이번 포럼의 사전등록은 오는 7월 10일까지 공식 누리집을 통해 신청할 수 있으며, 행사 기간 중 송도컨벤시아 현장에서도 등록이 가능하다.

The City of Incheon announced that the '7th Incheon International Ocean Forum (Incheon International Ocean Forum 2026),' the largest marine knowledge business platform in the capital region, will be held for two days from July 15 to 16 at Incheon Songdo Convention Center.The event is jointly hosted by the City and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and organized by the Incheon Port Authority and Yonhap News Agency.

Furthermore, an academic seminar on AI-driven changes in the port and logistics environment and an AI competition for university and graduate students in Incheon will be held. Simultaneously, a variety of events encompassing both academia and industry will take place, such as an exhibition of UAM (Urban Air Mobility) drones that will lead future transportation innovation.
