(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 부평구의회가 지난 6일부터 21일까지 16일간의 일정으로 제276회 임시회를 개회했다고 밝혔다. 

부평구의회에 따르면, 이번 임시회는 제10대 부평구의회의 첫 집회이며, 전반기 의장, 부의장 선출 및 상임위원회 위원을 선임하고, 각 상임위원장을 선출하는 것으로 전반기 의정활동을 시작한다.

주요일정을 살펴보면, 첫날인 6일 10시에 제1차 본회의를 개의하여 의장과 부의장을 선출하고, 제276회 인천광역시부평구의회(임시회) 회기 결정, 행정복지위원회 및 도시환경위원회 위원 선임 등을 의결했다. 

7일 열리는 제2차 본회의에서는 행정복지위원회 및 도시환경위원회 위원장을 선출하고 의회운영위원회 위원을 선임하며, 8일 3차 본회의에서는 의회운영위원회 위원장을 선출하고, 예산결산특별위원회 및 윤리특별위원회 위원 선임 등을 처리할 예정이다.

이어 9일부터 20일까지는 본회의 휴회 기간을 갖고 각 상임위원회별 활동에 돌입한다.

9일 의회운영위원회를 시작으로 10일부터 20일까지 행정복지위원회와 도시환경위원회에서 2026년도 하반기 주요업무보고 청취와 조례안 및 기타 안건에 대한 심사 등을 실시하게 된다.

마지막 날인 21일에는 제4차 본회의를 개의하여 제277회 부평구의회(제1차 정례회) 집회일 결정의 건을 비롯해 각 위원회에서 심사·제안된 조례안 등 기타 안건을 최종 심의·의결하고 일정을 마무리할 예정이다.

김환연 의장은 “제10대 부평구의회는 의원님들의 뜻을 하나로 모아 화합하는 의회, 52만 부평구민의 대의기관으로서 집행부에 대한 견제와 균형, 그리고 대안 제시에 충실한 의회를 만들겠다”며, “늘 구민과 함께하는 겸허한 의회, 현장 중심으로 성실하게 일하는 의회가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 부평구의회는 7월 6일 오후 2시부터 부평구의회 전·현직 의원, 부평구청장 및 간부공무원, 기타 유관기관장 등이 참석한 가운데 제10대 부평구의회 개원식 및 개원 축하연을 개최했다.

The Bupyeong-gu Council in Incheon announced that it opened its 276th Extraordinary Session for a 16-day schedule from the 6th to the 21st.
