(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 6일 도성훈 인천광교육감이 그랜드오스티엄에서 열린 ‘2026 학교 현장 지원 방안 대토론회’에 참석해 학교가 수업과 생활지도에 전념할 수 있도록 실질적인 현장 지원 방안을 함께 모색했다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 대토론회에는 도성훈 교육감과 학교지원단, 관내 교직원 150여 명이 참석했으며, ‘현장에 묻고, 현장이 답하다’를 주제로 학교 업무 수행 과정의 비효율을 진단하고 학교 현장 지원 정책의 발전 방향을 논의하는 자리로 마련됐다.

이번 대토론회에서 참가자들은 학교 현장에서 직접 발굴한 과제를 토대로 학교급·직종별 분임 토의를 진행했으며 업무 유입 및 발생, 배정 및 분장, 수행 및 협업, 보고 및 증빙, 개선 및 환류 등 단계별 비효율 구조를 분석하고, 개선 방향을 제시했다.

인천시교육청은 이날 제안된 현장 의견을 종합해 ‘인천 학교현장지원 방안 2.0’에 반영하고, 교직원의 행정 부담을 줄여 학생 교육 중심의 학교 운영을 지원하는 정책을 지속적으로 확대할 계획이다.

도성훈 교육감은 “선생님들이 수업과 생활지도에 전념할 수 있도록 하는 것이 저의 가장 중요한 목표”라며 학교가 교육의 본질에 집중할 수 있도록 불필요한 업무를 줄이고 교육청의 학교 지원 체계를 강화하는 것을 새 임기의 주요 과제로 삼고 있다고 밝혔다.

이어 “학교현장지원단과 교육활동보호담당관 운영 등 다양한 지원을 확대하고 있지만, 현장에서는 여전히 해결해야 할 과제가 많다”며 “교직원들이 원하는 지원이 실제 정책으로 이어질 수 있도록 오늘 나온 의견들을 꼼꼼히 검토해 현장에서 체감하는 학교 지원 방안으로 발전시키겠다”고 말했다.
