(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 강화군의회가 7월 1일 제313회 임시회를 시작으로 제10대 의회 임기를 힘차게 시작했다.

강화군의회에 따르면, 이날 강화군의회는 최중찬 의원(국민의힘)을 제10대 전반기 의장으로, 황성주 의원(더불어민주당)을 부의장으로 선출했다. 

이어 강화군의회 의원 전원은 군민의 뜻을 대변하며 지역 발전과 군민의 복리증진을 위해 책임 있는 의정활동을 펼칠 것을 다짐했다.

최중찬 의장은 “제10대 강화군의회는 군민의 신뢰를 바탕으로 소통과 협력을 최우선 가치로 삼아, 군민의 목소리가 군정에 충실히 반영될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”며 “집행기관에 대한 견제와 감시는 물론, 정책 대안을 제시하는 생산적인 의회로서 군민의 행복과 강화의 미래를 위해 책임 있는 의정활동을 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

또한 윤리특별위원회 위원장으로 선임된 구본호 의원은 “의원 스스로 높은 윤리의식과 책임감을 바탕으로 군민에게 신뢰받는 의회를 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”며 “공정하고 투명한 의회 운영을 통해 군민의 기대에 부응하는 윤리특별위원회가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
