(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 농림축산식품부와 한국농수산식품유통공사(이하 aT)가 운영하는 ‘농수산물 온라인도매시장’은 오는 6월 26일 오전 10시부터 12시까지 온라인도매시장 플랫폼을 통해 ‘영동 거봉 포도 산지 경매’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

aT에 따르면,  산지 경매는 농가가 오프라인 도매시장을 거치지 않고 온라인플랫폼을 통해 전국의 구매자에게 농산물을 직접 경매로 판매하는 거래방식으로, 이번 경매에서는 충북 영동 가원영농조합법인의 비파괴 선별 거봉 포도가 판매될 예정이다. 

상품은 소비자 선호도가 높은 고당도 상품인 16브릭스 2kg(3~4수, 4~5수)와 최고급형 품위인 18브릭스 2kg(3~4수)로 세분화하여 선보인다. 

특히, 최근 급성장 중인 이커머스 및 온라인 쇼핑몰 셀러들을 겨냥해 산지에서 소비자에게 바로 배송하기 적합한 온라인 셀러 전용 택배 상품 16브릭스 600g, 1.5kg, 2kg도 함께 판매할 예정이다. 

이번 산지 직접 경매 도입으로 산지는 별도의 위탁수수료 부담 없이 전국 단위의 이용자를 대상으로 경매를 진행해 새로운 거래처를 발굴할 수 있는 기회를 얻게 된다. 

구매자 역시 오프라인 도매시장의 당일 반입 물량 한계에서 벗어나 산지 출하 정보를 미리 확인하고 응찰하여 온·오프라인 병행 수급체계를 구축할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.

이상길 aT 온라인도매시장운영본부장은 “내년도 본격적인 제도 시행을 앞두고 진행되는 이번 시범 경매는 산지가 직접 진행하는 경매로 우수한 제철 농산물이 전국의 구매자와 직접 만나는 효율적인 유통모델의 가능성을 점검하는 계기가 될 것”이라며, “이번 거래를 시작으로 오는 7월에는 복숭아, 8월에는 샤인머스캣 등 매월 품목별 산지 경매를 정례적으로 시범 운영해 플랫폼의 완성도를 지속적으로 높여나가겠다”고 말했다.

이번 시범 경매에 참여를 희망하는 구매자는 농수산물 온라인도매시장 플랫폼을 통해 회원가입 후 참여할 수 있다.
