(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구의회가 지난 8일 제281회 제1차 정례회를 개회하고 6월 15일까지 8일간의 일정으로 제9대 서구의회의 마지막 공식 의정활동에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

서구의회에 따르면, 이날 제1차 본회의에서는 2025회계연도 결산 승인을 위한 제안설명, 2026년도 일반 및 기타특별회계 제1회 추가경정 세입·세출 예산안 제안설명, 예산결산특별위원회 구성 결의안, 예산결산특별위원회 위원 선임의 건 등을 상정해 처리했다.

송승환 의장은 제9대 서구의회 마지막 정례회 개회사를 통해 지난 4년간의 의정 여정을 돌아보며, 서해구·검단구 출범을 앞둔 중요한 시점에서 제9대 의회의 역할과 성과를 되짚었다.

또한, 서구의회가 제10대 인천 서구의회 의원 당선인들이 지난 5일 오후 3시 서구청 대회의실에서 서구선거관리위원회가 개최한 당선증 교부식에 참석해 당선증을 전달받았고 이에 당선인들은 인천형 행정체제 개편에 따라 새롭게 출범하는 서해구의회 의원으로서 새로운 지방자치의 첫 출발을 함께하게 됐다고 밝혔다.
