(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 15일, 오래된 계획도시를 미래도시로 재창조하기 위한 ‘노후계획도시정비 선도지구 선정 공모’를 실시한다고 밝혔다. 

인천시에 따르면, 이번 공모는 연수·선학지구, 구월지구, 계산지구, 갈산·부평·부개지구, 만수1·2·3지구를 대상으로 한다. 

선도지구로 선정될 구역들은 특별정비예정구역 내에서 연수·선학지구 6,300호, 구월지구 2,700호, 계산지구 2,550호, 갈산·부평·부개지구 2,400호, 만수1·2·3지구 1,650호 규모로 추진된다. 

선정 기준은 주민참여도, 정비 시급성, 사업 추진의 파급효과 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 결정한다.

공모 일정은 12월 15일 공고를 시작해 2026년 5월 26일부터 6월 1일까지 신청받으며 2026년 8월에 최종 선정 결과가 발표될 예정이다. 

선도지구로 선정되면, 특별정비계획을 우선 수립해 사업을 더욱 신속하게 추진할 수 있는 이점이 있다.

한편 인천시는 노후계획도시정비 기본계획(안)을 마련하여, 오는 12월 22일까지 주민공람을 실시하고 시민 의견을 수렴하고 있다. 

기본계획(안)은 공람 이후 시의회 의견 청취, 지방위원회 심의, 국토교통부 특별정비위원회 심의·승인 등의 절차를 거쳐 최종 확정될 예정이다.
