(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 계양국제어학관이 11일, 2026년 봄·여름학기(6개월 과정) ‘Alphago반’ 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

계양국제어학관에 따르면, Alphago반은 계양구 영어 인재 육성을 목표로 구성된 어학관 대표 심화 프로그램이다. 

우수한 강사진과 체계적인 커리큘럼에 기반하여 영어 토론, 발표, 원서 읽기 등의 수업을 통해 영어 실력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 운영되고 있다. 

입학시험 지원자격은 어학관 재학생의 경우 예비 초등 4학년 이상으로, 정규 프로그램 Advanced 1레벨 이상의 학생이면 지원할 수 있다. 

비재원생의 경우, 공인 영어시험(토플 프라이머리 스텝2 220점 이상 또는 토셀 베이직 3급 이상) 성적을 보유한 학생이 지원할 수 있으며, 입학시험 결과에 따라 각 반 정원의 20% 내에서 선발한다.

입학시험 신청 기간은 12월 15일부터 2026년 1월 6일까지이며, 시험은 1월 17일(토) 계양국제어학관에서 실시된다. 

시험 내용은 독해, 문법, 어휘를 포함한 Comprehension Test와 함께 Speaking Interview, Essay Writing으로 구성된다.

아울러, 알파고반에 합격한 중학생은 별똥별어린이도서관에서 영어책 읽어주기 청소년 자원봉사단으로 활동할 수 있는 기회가 주어지며, 해당 활동 시 교육 봉사점수가 부여된다.
