(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 오는 13일 실시되는 2026학년도 대학수학능력시험을 앞두고 수험생들의 안전과 편의를 위한 교통지원대책을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

남동구에 따르면 최근 구 교통행정과 주관으로 ‘수능 대비 교통 소통 간담회’를 개최하고, 지역 내 수능시험 고사장 주변의 교통 대책을 논의했다. 

간담회에는 불법 주·정차 단속원들이 참석했으며, 시험장 주변 교통정리 및 단속 방안을 공유했다.

남동구는 수능 전날 수험표 배부가 이뤄지는 2개교와 시험 당일 시험장으로 지정된 10개교 주변 2km 이내 간선도로를 중심으로 불법 주·정차 차량을 집중 단속하고, 필요 시 견인 조치도 병행할 예정이다.

또한, 시험 당일 아침 교통 장애나 비상 상황으로 어려움을 겪는 수험생을 위해 지원 차량을 운행하며, 시험장 주변의 원활한 교통 흐름을 위해 주·정차 및 방범 CCTV 상황실과 실시간 연계를 추진한다.

아울러 남동구는 수능 당일 전 직원의 출근 시간을 오전 9시에서 10시로 조정해 교통 혼잡을 최소화하고, 수험생들이 불편 없이 시험에 응시할 수 있도록 다양한 지원을 아끼지 않을 방침이다.

박종효 남동구청장은 “수험생들이 쾌적한 환경에서 시험을 치르고 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 진심으로 응원하며, 원활한 교통 흐름을 위해 모든 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 올해 남동구 거주 수험생은 4,675명으로, 오전 8시 40분부터 오후 5시 45분까지(일반 수험생 기준) 지정된 고사장에서 시험에 응시할 예정이다.
