(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 오는 20일 청년의 날을 기념하여, 청년들과 함께 ‘서구 대장정’에 나선다고 밝혔다. 

서구에 따르면, ‘서구 대장정은’ 출정식이 열리는 서구청에서 출발, 청라호수공원과 하나금융을 거쳐 청년의 날 기념식이 진행되는 아시아드경기장까지 총 17km 코스로 기획됐다. 

17일까지 청년 참가자 30명을 선착순으로 신청받을 계획으로, 인천에 거주하는 만19세~39세 청년은 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 

참가자에게는 티셔츠, 모자와 함께 완주 메달도 지급될 예정이다.

이번 행사는 내년 분구를 앞두고 ‘서구’라는 이름으로 이뤄지는 마지막 청년 대장정 프로그램으로 ‘서인천청년회의소’ 등 서구 청년들이 직접 기획에 참여했다. 

서구 관계자는 “청년들이 모여 시내 곳곳을 둘러보며 서구의 역사를 기억하고, 새로운 시작을 알리는 상징적인 행사가 될 것”이라고 전했다. 

한편, 하나은행의 후원과 (재)인천서구문화재단의 주관으로 진행되는 이번 행사 관련 자세한 사항은 ‘청년센터 서구1939’ 홈페이지 또는 청년정책일자리과에서 안내받을 수 있다.

또한, 인천 서구가 오는 9일 오후 2시 서구청 지하 대회의실에서 ‘2025년 서구 채용한마당’ 을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

서구에 따르면, 이번 행사는 서구와 고용노동부가 공동으로 주관하며, 사무·항공·뿌리산업·기계·단순노무·서비스·물류 등 다양한 분야의 기업들이 참여할 예정이다. 

관내 20개 업체가 직접 참여해 구직자와 1:1 맞춤형 현장 면접을 진행하고, 간접 참여 30개 업체가 다양한 직종의 취업 정보를 제공하며 현장 이력서 접수 대행을 지원한다.

서구는 취업준비에 필요한 이력서 등을 비치해 구직자들이 현장에서 바로 면접에 참여할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

또, 채용행사과 연계하여 면접사진 무료촬영, 퍼스널 컬러진단, MBTI 적성검사 등 부대행사를 함께 진행할 계획이다.

구직자는 당일 신분증과 이력서를 지참해 바로 행사에 참여할 수 있으며,사전 유선상담을 통해 1:1 현장면접도 신청할 수 있다.

또한, 인천 서구가 3일, 청년의 날을 맞아 ‘제5회 서구청년상’ 후보자를 모집한다고  밝혔다. 

서구에 따르면, 서구청년상은 지역 곳곳에서 활발히 활동하는 청년들을 발굴하고자 기획된 시상으로, 청년활동, 사회봉사, 문화예술체육, 지역경제, 시민참여 등 5개 분야에서 각 1명씩 총 5명의 청년을 선정해 수여한다. 

접수된 청년들은 최종 심사를 거쳐 분야별 1명씩 오는 9월 20일 열리는 ‘제5회 서구청년의 날 기념식’에서 표창을 받게 된다.

서구에 거주하거나 서구 소재 직장·학교·단체 등에서 활동하며, 해당 분야에서 2년 이상 꾸준히 활동해 온 19세 이상 39세 이하 청년은 누구나 신청할 수 있다.
