(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 지난 1일 구청에서 ‘제3차 부평구 기후위기 적응대책 수립 연구용역 중간보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이번 보고회에는 차준택 구청장을 비롯해 구의원, 탄소중립·녹색성장위원회 위원, 관계 공무원 및 연구용역 수행기관 등 30여 명이 참석했다.

참석자들은 연구용역 추진 경과와 중간 성과를 공유하고, 기후위기 적응대책의 방향과 실효성을 높이기 위한 다양한 의견을 나눴다.

용역사는 이날 보고회에서 제시된 의견을 반영해 오는 10월 연구용역을 완료한 후, 최종보고회를 개최할 예정이다.

이어 11월에는 부평구 탄소중립·녹색성장위원회 심의·의결을 거쳐, 12월 인천광역시와 환경부에 ‘제3차 부평구 기후위기 적응대책’을 최종 제출할 계획이다.

특히 부평구는 오는 2026년부터 2030년까지 확정된 적응대책을 본격적으로 이행·점검하며, 구민이 체감할 수 있는 기후위기 대응 정책을 추진해 나갈 방침이다.

차준택 구청장은 “기후위기 적응대책은 우리 세대뿐 아니라 미래세대를 위한 중요한 과제”라며 “정부와 인천시, 전문가, 구민과의 협력을 통해 지속가능한 부평을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
