인구주택총조사는 11월 1일 0시 현재를 조사기준 시점으로 하여 약 500만 가구에 대해 인터넷·전화조사(10.22.~11.18.)와 조사원 방문조사(11.1.~11.18.) 방식으로 진행된다.
