(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 1일, 추석 명절 전후 장거리 운행 증가에 대비해 구민의 안전운전을 지원하고 건전한 차량 관리문화를 확산하고자 ‘2025년 자동차 무료 점검·정비의 날’ 행사를 두 차례 운영한다고 밝혔다.

서구에 따르면, 1차 행사는 9월 21일 오전 9시부터 오후 3시까지, 2차 행사는 10월 19일 같은 시간에 서구청 본관 내 주차장에서 진행된다. 

행사 참여를 희망하는 구민은 자동차와 자동차등록증을 지참해 현장을 방문하면 되며, 사전예약 없이 현장 접수한다.

현장에서는 관내 주민의 자가용 승용차를 대상으로 엔진상태, 제동장치, 전기장치 등 주요 장치를 전문 정비기술 인력이 점검하고, 와이퍼 브러시, 전구류, 워셔액, 엔진오일 보충, 타이어 공기압 보충 등 일부 소모품을 무상으로 교체·보충해 준다. 

점검 종료 후에는 문자 발송 또는 QR코드를 통한 만족도 조사를 실시할 예정이다.

이날 점검·정비는 자동차 정비 분야의 전문자격을 갖춘 전문정비사업조합원들의 재능기부로 진행된다. 

1차는 (사)새인천전문정비사업조합 서구지회가, 2차는 (사)인천광역시자동차전문정비사업조합 서구지회가 각각 주관한다.
