(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자)  중부지방해양경찰청이 25일부터 10월 24일까지 관내 소속기관 대상으로 하반기 해상종합훈련을 시행한다고 밝혔다.

중부해경창에 따르면, 훈련 대상은 인천·평택·태안·보령해경서와 서해5도특별경비단 경비함정 58척 62팀이며, 해상 복합형 훈련(대응능력 제고), 실전 맞춤형 해역별 특성화 훈련, 분야별 훈련절차 반복 숙달, 현장실무 중심 교육을 통한 현장 대응력을 강화하는데 역점을 두고 진행된다. 

특히, 해역별 특성에 맞는 해상 훈련 중심으로 실시하며, 관할 해역에서 많이 발생하는 해상수색 및 타선소화 등 6개 종목을 훈련하고 평가하여 2025년 중부지방청 우수 함정 선발에 적용할 예정이다. 

또한, 실제 상황 대응 능력 향상을 위해 구조보드 활용 저수심 인명구조, 화재 선박 계류 내부 소화, 헬기 함상 이·착함 등 실전과 같은 절차를 반영하여 6대 해양사고에 즉각 대응할 수 있도록 훈련을 실시할 것이다.
