(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구의회가 지난 11일 구의회 본회의장(3층)에서 청렴문화 확산을 위한 청렴서약식을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

남동구의회에 따르면, 이날 행사는 남동구의원과 의회사무국 직원 등이 참여해 공직자로서의 청렴한 자세와 공정하고 투명한 의정활동 수행을 다짐하고자 마련됐다.

서약서에서는 윤리적 행동 강령을 준수하고, 법과 원칙에 따라 직무수행을 할 것을 다짐하는 내용이 포함됐다.

또한 남동구의회는 올해 설 명절을 맞이하여 청렴 배너를 청사 로비에 설치하고, 구의회 홈페이지에 청탁금지법 카드뉴스를 게시하는 등 청렴 문화확산을 위해 앞장서고 있다.

이정순 의장은 “청렴은 공직자로서 가장 중요한 덕목 중 하나로, 조직 내 청렴 문화를 확산시켜 구민에게 신뢰받는 의회가 될 수 있도록 적극 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
