(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 6일부터 무단 방치 차량 단속에 나섰다고 밝혔다. 

부천시에 따르면, 그 동안 민원신고에 의존하던 수동적인 단속 방식에서 벗어나 행정동과 단속반을 1:1로 매칭해 자체 단속반을 편성하고 로드체킹을 실시했다.

올해 상반기에는 심곡2동, 성곡동, 신흥동 3개 동을 대상으로 주 1회 시범 운영한다. 

또, 반기별 단속 구역 변경 및 운영 방식을 개선해 무단 방치 차량 사각지대를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있도록 지속 운영할 계획이다.

지난해 부천시는 총 1,207건의 무단 방치 신고를 접수했으며, 이륜차의 경우 560건이 접수됐으며 이 중 378건(이륜차의 67.5%)이 소유자 미상의 차량으로 확인됐다.   

신원 불명의 이륜차에 대해서는 안내문 부착과 공고를 병행해 신속한 자진 이동 및 견인 조치를 진행할 수 있도록 절차를 개선했다.

부천시는 시민 중심의 교통편의 조성을 위해 도로와 주차장, 타인의 토지 등에 정당한 사유 없이 일정 기간 이상 방치된 차량을 적극적으로 정리할 방침이다.

Bucheon City announced that it has started cracking down on illegally abandoned vehicles since the 6th.
