(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 오는 2월 20일까지 2025년도 사회복지기금 노인복지 사업 공모 접수를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

계양구에 따르면, 사회복지기금으로 추진하는 노인복지 사업은 노인의 건강하고 안정된 생활을 영위할 수 있는 자립기반 조성과 지역 노인단체의 사회봉사 활동을 지원하기 위해 운영되고 있다.

올해 사업 기간은 4월부터 12월까지이며 총 공모 사업비는 5,245만 원이다. 지원 대상은 계양구 지역에 주사무실을 두고 노인복지분야 사업을 수행하고 있는 사회복지시설, 비영리법인 또는 단체이다.

한편, 국가·지자체·공익법인 등으로부터 동일한 사업에 대한 지원이 결정되었거나 단순 친목단체나 종교단체는 지원에서 제외된다.

또한, 계양구가 지역 내 LPG용기를 사용하는 가구를 대상으로 고무호스를 금속배관으로 교체하는 ‘LPG용기 사용가구 시설개선사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

계양구에 따르면, 이번 사업은 관련법 개정에 따라 2030년까지 LPG 금속배관 설치가 의무화됐지만, 비용 부담으로 인해 시설개선에 어려움을 겪는 지역 주민을 위해 구가 사업비를 지원하는 사업이다. 

계양구는 한국가스안전공사와의 업무협약을 통해 사고에 취약한 고무호스를 금속배관으로 안전하게 교체 추진할 계획이다.

올해 지원 대상은 총 10개 가구이다. 현재 구는 2월 6일부터 선착순 접수를 진행 중이며, 오는 10월 말까지 시설개선 사업을 마무리할 예정이다.

Gyeyang-gu announced that it will accept applications for the 2025 Social Welfare Fund Elderly Welfare Project Competition until February 20.

According to Gyeyang-gu, the elderly welfare project promoted by the social welfare fund is operated to create a self-reliance foundation for the elderly to lead a healthy and stable life and to support social service activities of local senior citizens’ groups.

This year’s project period is from April to December, and the total cost of the competition is 52.45 million won. The support target is social welfare facilities, non-profit corporations, or organizations that have their main offices in the Gyeyang-gu area and are carrying out projects in the field of elderly welfare.

Meanwhile, support for the same project has been decided by the state, local government, public interest corporation, etc., or simple social groups or religious groups are excluded from support.

Gyeyang-gu plans to safely replace rubber hoses, which are vulnerable to accidents, with metal pipes through a business agreement with the Korea Gas Safety Corporation.

A total of 10 households will be supported this year. Currently, the district is accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis from February 6th, and the facility improvement project is scheduled to be completed by the end of October.
