(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구의회(의장 안애경)가 특별위원회(예결특위·윤리특위) 위원장을 새롭게 선임했다고 밝혔다.

부평구의회에 따르면, 활동기간을 1년(2024.7.8.~2025.7.7.)으로 하는 예산결산특별위원회와 윤리특별위원회 선임의 건이 지난 7월 3일에 있었던 제263회 임시회 제3차 본회의에서 의결됨에 따라, 7월 10일 각 특별위원회별로 회의를 개최해 위원장과 부원장을 호선으로 선임했다.

예결특위는 김동민 의원을 위원장으로, 윤구영 의원을 부위원장으로 각각 선임하였다.

김동민 예산결산특별위원회 위원장은 “예결특위는 예산안과 결산을 심사하는 가장 중요한 의정 활동으로서, 적재적소에 예산을 합리적으로 편성하고 효율적으로 집행될 수 있도록 위원님들과 함께 지혜를 모으겠다”고 소감을 전했다. 

윤리특위는 강연숙 의원을 위원장으로, 정예지 의원을 부위원장으로 각각 선임했다. 

강연숙 윤리특별위원회 위원장은 “윤리특위는 의원의 윤리강령과 윤리실천규범 준수 여부 및 징계 등에 관한 사항을 심사하는 만큼, 구민의 신뢰를 얻는 의회를 만들기 위해 부평구의회 의원들이 청렴하고 공정한 의정활동을 펼치도록 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
