(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 법무부 인천보호관찰소가 10일, 수 회에 걸쳐 보호관찰 준수사항을 위반한 보호관찰 대상자 A씨에 대한 집행유예취소를 신청한 사건이 최근 인천지방법원에서 받아들여 실형을 살게 됐다고 밝혔다. 

인천보호관찰소에 따르면, A씨는 지난 2022년 5월 인천지방법원에서 폭력행위등처벌에관한법률위반(공동상해)으로 징역 10월, 집행유예 3년, 보호관찰 3년, 사회봉사명령 80시간을 선고받았다.

그러나 A씨는 사회봉사명령 집행지시에 불응하고 정당한 사유 없이 보호관찰관의 출석 지시에 따르지 않는 등 지도·감독에 불응했다. 

또한 법원으로부터 오후 8시부터 다음 날 오전 8시까지 외출을 금지하는 특별준수사항을 부과받았음에도 이를 수 회에 걸쳐 위반했다.

이에  인천보호관찰소는 ‘집행유예 취소’라는 엄중한 처분을 받도록 하여 A씨는 집행유예가 취소되어 징역 10월의 실형을 살게 됐다.

인천보호관찰소 문희갑 소장은 “앞으로도 보호관찰 준수사항 위반 대상자에 대한 지도·감독 및 제재조치 등을 더욱 강화해 대상자의 재범을 사전에 차단하고 범죄로부터 안전한 지역 사회 구축을 위해 최선의 노력을 다 하겠다“고 말했다.
