(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 우리나라는 한 때 마약청정국이라고 불렸으나, 이제는 성인 뿐만 아니라 청소년 마약사범에 관한 뉴스 기사가 쏟아지고 있다. 

실제로 청소년들은 SNS를 통해 마약에 대해 쉽게 접근 할 수 있고 SNS상 다이어트 약 등 향정신성의약품 판매 게시글을 보고 호기심에 구입하여 먹거나, 본인이 처방받은 의약품을 타인에게 하여 처벌되는 사례가 늘어나고 있다.

최근에는 마약이라는 단어를 일상생활에 쉽게 사용함으로써 경각심이 사라지고 있다. 

청소년들은 마약의 중독성이나 위험성에 대한 인식이 부족하고, 마약을 범죄가 아닌 청소년기 비행으로 인식하는 경우도 있어 주의가 필요하다.

청소년들은 성인에 비해 중독에 민감하게 반응하여 단기간에 적은 양으로도 훨씬 더 치명적이다. 

또한 마약의 중독증세로 인하여 마약을 구하기 위해 절도, 강도, 사기 등 범죄를 저지를 뿐만 아니라, 성범죄나 조직범죄의 피해자가 되는 등 2차 범죄에 노출될 위험이 높다.

청소년들은 호기심에라도 마약과 관련된 사이트, 게시물을 클릭하지 말아야하고, 길에서 모르는 사람이 주는 음료는 단호하게 거절해야 한다. 

요즘에는 고수익 아르바이트 미끼에 속아 마약을 숨기거나 배달하는 사례도 있는데, 정상적이지 않은 장소에 물건을 배달하고 그에 대한 보상으로 돈을 주는 것은 마약 배달 알바일 수 있으니 주의해야 한다.

이 외에도 마약으로부터 청소년들을 지키기 위해서는 가정과 학교에서도 마약은 비행이 아닌 범죄라는 사실을 인식 할 수 있도록 올바른 지도를 해야 한다. 

한 번의 호기심이 평생의 후회로 남을 수 있다는 사실을 염두해 두고, 청소년들의 마약범죄 예방을 위해 학생과 학부모 등 사회 전반의 적극적인 관심이 필요하다.
