(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 지난 24일 공연예술의 한마당 ‘2023년 제27회 부평풍물대축제’가 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 밝혔다. 

부평구에 따르면, 부평풍물대축제는 문화체육관광부가 2020년부터 2023년까지 예비 문화관광축제로 지정한 인천의 대표 축제이자 거리축제로  이번 축제는 ‘부평에 있다! 풍물을 잇다!’ 라는 주제로 지난 23일부터 24일까지 부평대로에서 열렸다.

부평구에 따르면 거리축제 2일간 약 50만 명의 관람객이 다녀간 것으로 추산됐다.

지난 22일 신트리공원에서 진행한 풍물기원제를 시작으로, 23일 열린 개막식에서는 방송인 조영구씨의 사회와 트로트 대중가수 신승태, 국악인 오정해, 화려한 미디어 북 퍼포먼스를 선보인 IN풍류 등이 관중들을 매료시켰다.

또한, 시민무대에서는 부평구문화재단이 준비한 축제속의 축제 ‘2023 부평생활문화축제’의 장이 열려, 밴드, 악기연주, 무용 등의 동호회와 지역뮤지션의 다양한 공연·생활문화 체험․전시 행사가 펼쳐졌다.

거리에서는 부평구축제위원회, 부평문화원, 부평구문화예술인협회 등이 마련한 예술놀이터에서 시민들이 전통놀이, 퍼포먼스, 공예 등의 체험 프로그램에 직접 참여하여 배우고 즐길 수 있는 기회를 가졌다.

대규모 풍물단과 축제에 참여한 공연 단체 등 1천여 명으로 구성된 ‘대동 퍼레이드’는 행사 마지막 날인 24일, 신명나고 흥겨운 풍물가락 속에 참가자들 모두 열정적인 모습을 보이며 관람객으로부터 큰 환호를 받았다.

폐막공연에는 팬텀싱어4 준우승팀 포르테나의 김성현, 박준영 명창, 락밴드 써드스톤 등이 제27회 부평풍물대축제의 대미를 장식했다.  

이번 축제에서는 연계행사를 조화롭게 접목한 점도 두드러졌다.

제30회 부평구민의 날 기념식을 축제 개막행사로 개최하여, 부평구 발전에 헌신하신 분들께 시상을 통해 자긍심을 고취시키고, 제8회 부평사회적경제한마당을 통해 주민과 함께 사회적경제에 대한 가치를 공유하며 공감대를 형성하는 이벤트와 체험부스 등을 운영했다. 

또한, 부평종합시장 상인회에서 주관하는 부평가왕 선발대회도 연계행사로 개최하여, 주민과 상인들의 수준급 노래 실력과 열띤 응원 경쟁도 흥미를 더했다.

이와 함께 축제 기간 중 열린 ‘제24회 전국학생풍물경연대회’에 초·중 단체부 금상에 천안방축골농악보존회 청소년연희단, 개인부에 온양용화중학교 박사임 학생, 고등부 단체부 대상에 청소년연희단뚜닥깨비가 각각 수상의 영예를 안았다.  

아울러 이번 축제에는 지역 유관기관 또한 참여해 다양한 홍보활동을 펼치기도 했다.

또, 인천삼산경찰서는 축제 기간 중 장애인 학대 예방 및 아동, 여성안전을 위한 홍보물 배부 캠페인 활동에 나서는 등 사회적 약자 보호 활동에 적극 나섰다. 

부평소방서는 소방옷 입기 체험 등을 통해 어린이와 학부모의 큰 호응을 얻기도 했다.

한편, 지난 23일 열린 제30회 부평구민의 날 기념식에서 부평구 갈산1동 위삼순 15통장이 모범구민상을 수상했으며 또, 강정순 6통장이 모범시민상을 수상했다.
