인천교육청은 전‧후임자 간 업무공유와 소통창구를 형성하고, 직무수행에 필요한 기본 지식을 습득하게 해 업무에 대한 자신감과 공직에 대한 만족감을 높일 수 있도록, 지난해 전국 최초로 교육행정직렬과 학교를 대상으로 시범 운영했다.

운영 후 신규 임용 발령자 78명을 대상으로 진행한 설문조사 결과 96.3%가 전 직렬 및 전 기관으로 확대 운영을 희망했다. 

인천교육청은 이를 토대로 제도를 보완해 2023년 신규 임용 후보자 113명(교육행정 86명, 사서 7명, 전산 2명, 공업 4명, 시설관리 14명)을 대상으로 발령연계형 실무수습제도를 운영한다. 

10월 1일 신규 임용되는 공무원부터 임용 전 5일 동안 발령기관에서 근무하고 공무원에 준하는 권한과 책임을 부여한다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 18일 관내 대입 수험생과 학부모에게 2024학년도 수시모집 입학 정보를 제공하고자 30개 전문대학을 초청해 수시입학박람회를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
