(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구의회가 지난 7일 열린 제257회 임시회 제1차 의회운영위원회에서 김숙희 의원(갈산1·2, 삼산1동)이 대표 발의하고, 박영훈 의원(부평3, 산곡3·4, 십정1·2동)이 공동 발의에 참여한  ‘정책지원관 운영 및 관리 조례안’을 원안 가결 했다고 밝혔다.

부평구의회에 따르면, 조례안은 정책지원관 직무범위의 특수성을 감안하여 정책지원관의 업무범위를 구체화하고, 정책지원관의 지휘·감독 체계를 명시하는 등 ‘지방자치법’개정에 따른 정책지원관 운영 및 관리에 관한 사항을 규정했다.

주요내용으로는 정책지원관의 임용 및 배치에 관한 사항, 정책지원관의 직무 및 지휘·감독 권한에 관한 사항, 정책지원관의 비밀유지 준수, 정책지원관의 근무실적평가에 관한 사항, 정책지원관의 직무역량 향상을 위한 지원에 관한 사항이 있다.

조례안을 대표 발의한 김숙희 의원은 “정책지원관의 도입으로 의회의 의결사항과 관련된 의정활동과 행정사무감사 및 조사 등을 지원함으로 시민을 위한 다양한 정책이 시행될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.

한편, 이번 조례안은 오는 15일 개최되는 제257회 임시회 제4차 본회의에서 최종 의결될 예정이다.
