(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 7일 월드비전 인천경기사업본부와 2023년 인천지역 위기 아동 의료비 및 조식지원 사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 지난 6일 위기 아동 의료비 및 조식지원를 위해 월드비전 인천경기사업본부가 인천시교육청에 위기 아동 특별지원금으로 2억 원을 전달했다.

지원금은 관내 유・초・중・고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 중증 의료비(3천5백만 원), 꿈지원금(2천만 원), 조식 지원(1억 1천5백만 원), 주말 결식 도시락 지원(3천만 원) 등에 사용할 예정이다.

전달식 이후에는 조식 지원 사업에 참여하는 초・중・고등학교 관계자들과 상호 교육 협력을 약속하는 업무 협약을 체결했다.

월드비전은 2020년부터 인천 관내 학교들과 조식 지원 사업을 진행해 왔으며, 올해는 12개 초・중・고등학교에서 사업을 추진한다.

월드비전은 사업 참여학교에 조식 공간과 사업비를 지원하고, 학교에서는 교내 조식 결식이 우려되는 학생에게 주 5회 아침 식사를 제공한다.

또, 위기 지원 모니터링을 함께 진행해 의료비와 생계비를 지원하고 아동 소원 들어주기 등과 같은 가족 참여 프로그램도 다수 운영한다.
